HISTORY

It was in 1977 that Anna D’Andrea, after a 20-year-old work experience as a cook in Rome, got back to Civilella Casanova to give birth and shape to her dream, that was changing a Tobacconist’s into a ‘trattoria’. Following in his mother’s footsteps, Marcello Spadone and his wife Bruna, also thanks to the help from their children, Alessio and Mattia, and to a cohesive staff, have changed La Bandiera into an elite place of the Abruzzian cookery

Bruna, chef and soul of the restaurant,
has applied her valuable experience as an agronomist
in the magical kitchen garden
where vegetables and aromatic herbs
are cultivated
