WHO WE ARE
It was 1977 when Anna D'Andrea, after twenty years of experience as a cook in Rome, returned to Civitella Casanova to give shape and substance to her dream: to convert a salt and tobacco shop into a trattoria. Following their mother's teachings over time, Marcello Spadone and his wife Bruna, with the help of their sons Alessio and Mattia, and a close-knit team of collaborators, have transformed "La Bandiera" into a prestigious destination for Abruzzese gastronomy.

He trained at Albereta under the guidance of Gualtiero Marchesi, as well as in the best restaurants in Italy.

BRUNA

Bruna Sablone, the chef and true soul of the restaurant, applies her training as an agronomist to great effect in her magical garden.

MATTIA
SPADONE
He trained at the school of the Roca brothers, renowned Michelin-starred Spanish chefs, and from them, he brought back new techniques and creativity.

ALESSIO
SPADONE
He took his first steps in the restaurant world with an internship at Enoteca Pinchiorri.
